{"id":10040,"date":"2025-02-20T11:54:57","date_gmt":"2025-02-20T10:54:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/syva.es\/syva-award-international-2025-applications-are-now-closed\/"},"modified":"2025-02-20T14:23:01","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T13:23:01","slug":"syva-award-international-2025-applications-are-now-closed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/syva.es\/en\/syva-award-international-2025-applications-are-now-closed\/","title":{"rendered":"Syva Award International 2025 applications are now Closed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The application period for the <strong>28th edition of the Syva Award International<\/strong> officially closed at midnight yesterday, and we are delighted to announce that we have received a <strong>record number of theses since the award was established in 1998!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, we received <strong>32 theses<\/strong>, of which <strong>23 were submitted by candidates from Spanish universities<\/strong>, while <strong>9 came from institutions outside Spain<\/strong>, including <strong>Belgium, Finland, Portugal, the Netherlands, and Pakistan<\/strong>. These results demonstrate that, <strong>just two years after opening the award to young researchers from European universities and countries where Syva operates, the Syva Award continues to build its international reputation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We would like to extend <strong>our sincere thanks to all the candidates <\/strong> who placed their trust in us by submitting their work, as well as to <strong>their thesis supervisors and academic institutions<\/strong>, who have supported them throughout these years of effort and dedication, contributing to advances in <strong>animal health and welfare research<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next Step: Selecting the Winners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the coming weeks, <strong> an international jury composed of professors and experts from various universities<\/strong> will meet for <strong>two days<\/strong> to evaluate the applications and select the winners. They will be contacted <strong>before April 14, 2025<\/strong>, and will have the opportunity to travel to <strong>Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, where they will receive their awards.
