Syvazul\u00ae BTV 3 receives the authorization from the EMA for administration at a dose of 2 ml in cattle with an increased antigen concentration.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Le\u00f3n, 10 September 2025 <\/span>\u2013 Syva is pleased to announce that on 28 August 2025, the EMA has granted<\/span> the inclusion of the bovine species at a 2 ml dose with an increased antigen concentration<\/span><\/strong>, <\/strong>which improves convenience and aligns with the most recent regulatory data.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, the authorized indications for Syvazul\u00ae BTV 3 are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

Cattle<\/span>: active immunisation of cattle to reduce viraemia caused by bluetongue virus serotype 3, with <\/strong><\/span>two intramuscular injections of 2 ml administered three weeks apart.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sheep<\/span>: active immunisation of sheep to reduce viraemia, mortality, clinical signs and lesions caused by bluetongue virus serotype 3, with<\/strong><\/span> a single subcutaneous injection of 2 ml from 3 months of age.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
