A unique award for its prestige, academic impact and the international network it generates around its winners.<\/p>\n<h4><strong> Why should you apply?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Because this award not only recognises a thesis: <strong>it opens doors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participating means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To give your work international visibility.<\/li>\n<li>To connect with a panel of <strong>leading experts<\/strong> in animal health.<\/li>\n<li>To be part of a journey that has inspired researchers who are now leading projects in microbiology, immunology, and infectious diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you successfully defended your thesis between <strong>1 October 2023 and 30 September 2025<\/strong>, and it has generated at least <strong>two indexed publications<\/strong>, this opportunity is for you.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How to <\/strong><strong>participate?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Applications may <strong>only be submitted online<\/strong> via<br \/>\n\ud83d\udc49<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/award.syva.es\/en\/\"> https:\/\/award.syva.es<\/a><\/strong> (open from 15th December ).<\/p>\n<p>You will only need to complete the form and upload:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your personal details and ID card\/passport.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>final version of your doctoral thesis <\/strong>(or an extract in Spanish\/English if it is written in another language).<\/li>\n<li>Your derivative <strong>scientific work<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Awards or distinctions obtained.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A solid, clear and verifiable application is key to moving forward in the process.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The prize<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>A reward that matches the effort:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First prize<\/strong>: \u20ac18,000<\/li>\n<li>Up to <strong>two additional prizes<\/strong>: \u20ac3,500 each<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The award may be declared void if the scientific level so requires, ensuring that excellence is genuine and non-negotiable.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Evaluation and announcement of winners<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>An <strong>international panel <\/strong>will evaluate the theses using transparent and rigorous criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>75% \u2192 Scientific value of the thesis<\/li>\n<li>25 % \u2192 Related scientific output<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The decision will be published <strong>before 14 April 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>The Syva experience: more than just an award<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The winners will be invited to <strong>Le\u00f3n,<\/strong> where they will present their research to an expert audience, visit our facilities, and enjoy a day dedicated to celebrating their contribution to animal health.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Take the next step in your scientific career<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If you have spent years conducting research that could improve animal health and welfare, now is your moment.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Syva Award International<\/strong> not only recognises your efforts: <strong>it propels you into the future.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 <em> <\/em><em>We are waiting for you.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>29 years promoting scientific talent: Syva International Award 2026 \u00b7 Call for applications now open<br \/>\nRecognising excellence.
