Those webinars on cattle necropsies<\/strong> sponsored by Laboratorios Syva<\/strong> and organised by ANEMBE (Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Especialistas en Medicina Bovina)<\/p>\n

They will be given by Valent\u00edn P\u00e9rez<\/strong>, Professor<\/strong>of the Department of Animal Health<\/strong>of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Le\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Necropsies are a useful and very important tool<\/strong> to help us to make a diagnostic approach, or even a definitive diagnosis.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday 24th March at 20:00<\/strong> the first day will be about ‘Necropsy as a diagnostic tool in the field’.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The topic of the next day, on Wednesday 7th April at 20:00<\/strong>, will be ‘Interpretation of macroscopic lesions<\/g>Application to the diagnosis of some common diseases and processes.\u2019<\/g><\/p>\n

Webinar 1 : Necropsy as a diagnostic tool in the field<\/strong><\/p>\n

Necropsies are a useful tool that can be of great help to carry out a diagnostic approach, or sometimes even a definitive diagnosis, and that can be carried out in field conditions. In this presentation, the aim is to show how to evaluate macroscopic findings at necropsy, in the different organs and systems, with special emphasis on the differentiation of lesions associated with disease, with its possible general causes, from other changes, mainly post-mortem or of other origin. <\/p>\n

Webinar 2 : Interpretation of macroscopic lesions. Application to the diagnosis of some common diseases and processes <\/strong><\/p>\n

The objective is to assess lesions and groups of lesions, from different organs, in relation to their causes, but grouped in such a way that the main macroscopic findings in the necropsy of common diseases or processes in bovine pathology are known.
