Personal Data Protection Clause (updated GDPR and LOPDGDD 2025)

LABORATORIOS SYVA, S.A. with tax ID: A78633856, Parque Tecnológico de León, C/ Nicostrato Vela, s/n Parc. M20 · 24009 León (España), email: data.protection@syva.es (hereinafter, SYVA) will process your personal data to manage your registration and participation in the event, cover related expenses, and -unless you object- send information about other SYVA-organized or sponsored events, based on legitimate interest and/or your registration request.

Your data will be retained for the time necessary to fulfil these purposes and until potential liabilities expire. They may be shared with event organizers, travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, transport companies, and other attendees for organizational purposes based on your registration request. Additionally advisors, auditors, IT providers, and SYVA Group companies, who provide support services for event management may also access your data, under contracts with appropriate safeguards.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection at the postal address above or via data.protection@syva.es, and file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Image, Voice and Intellectual Property Rights Assignment Clause

In accordance with Organic Law 1/1982, of 5 May, on the Civil Protection of the Right to Honour, to Personal and Family Privacy, and to One’s Own Image and other applicable laws, I expressly authorize SYVA to record and/or capture my image, voice, and/or intervention during the event. This includes linking such records with other personal data on file (e.g., my CV) and using them to produce printed or audiovisual materials to promote or publicize SYVA’s events and/or products.

I authorize distribution internally and externally via internet, email, social networks, digital or physical media, with no geographical or time limits.

I assign to SYVA all exploitation rights (reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation) over said recordings or derivative materials, worldwide, for the maximum legal duration of such rights, free of charge.

This authorization and assignment are free, revocable at any time without retroactive effect, and cover any current or future format. I waive any liability claims against SYVA for lawful use of such images/interventions, except where prohibited by law.

General Event Liability Disclaimer

SYVA will take reasonable measures to ensure the safe development of the event. However, it accepts no liability for any damage, harm, or personal injury that participants may suffer during the event, except when directly caused by SYVA’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Attendance is at the participant’s own risk, who agrees to comply with all safety instructions issued by the organizers or authorities.
