Indications

Contra-indications

Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
Do not use in breeding animals or those with liver, renal injuries or cardiopathies.

Special precautions

After administration, animals must rest in a quiet place. During resuscitation animals must not be left alone.
Make sure the animal has recovered the swallowing reflex before offering any food or drink.
Due to the different recommended doses, care must be taken if the veterinary medication is administered in species different to those it is aimed at.
Atipamezole does not reverse the effect of ketamine, which may cause convulsions in dogs and cause cramps in cats when used alone. Do not use atipamezole between 30 and 40 minutes after administration of ketamine.

In humans: avoid any contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of accidental spillage on the skin or eyes, wash the area affected immediately with clean running water.
