Indications
To restore normal gastrointestinal function in situations where stimulation of gastrointestinal secretions is required, such as:
Cows: indigestion, food poisoning, ketosis, anorexia.
Sheep and goats: indigestion, pre-eclampsia.
Pigs: indigestion, anorexia, constipation.
Horses: gastrointestinal disorders, colic.
Dogs: indigestion, anorexia, constipation.
Contra-indications
Do not administer to animals with heart abnormalities, hyperthermia or biliary tract obstruction. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any excipient.

Special precautions
It is not recommended to inject more than 20 ml intramuscularly at a single injection site. In horses, administer exclusively by the intravenous route. Intravenous administration of the veterinary medicinal product must be performed slowly (no less than 1 minute) to avoid the appearance of adverse reactions. Do not administer together with solutions that contain calcium salts, penicillin-procaine or B complex vitamins.
People with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients must avoid contact with the veterinary medicinal product. This medicinal product causes irritation after injection and may cause pain and inflammation. This medicinal product may cause eye irritation.
Posology
Horses: intravenous route, administered slowly. 10 mg of menbutone/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml of veterinary drug/10 kg body weight).
Cows, sheep, goats, pigs and dogs: intramuscular route or intravenous route, administered slowly. 10 mg of menbutone/kg body weight (equivalent to 1 ml of veterinary drug/10 kg body weight). If necessary, a second dose of veterinary medicinal product can be administered after 24 hours.
