Indications
Treatment of infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to flumequine, such as:
*Poultry (broiler chickens and turkeys): colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis.
*Pigs: colibacillosis, enteritis, gastroenteritis, neonatal diseases.
*Lambs: colibacillosis, septicaemia, pasteurellosis.
*Calves: Bronchopneumonia, colibacillar enteritis, neonatal diseases, salmonellosis.
Contra-indications
Do not use in ruminating animals with kidney or liver failure.
Special precautions
Do not expose treated animals to the sun due to the danger of photosensitisation. Do not administer simultaneously with trimethoprim.
Posology
Calves: 0.2-0.50 ml/10 kg bodyweight, every 12 hours for 5 days.
Piglets: 0.60 ml/10 kg bodyweight, every 12 hours for 3-5 days.
Adult pigs: 0.30 ml/10 kg bodyweight., every 12 hours for 3-5 days.
Lambs: 0.30 ml/10 kg bodyweight., every 12 hours for 4-6 days.
Chickens and turkeys: 1 ml/8-16 kg bodyweight/day, for 3-5 days.
Waiting time
Meat:
Pigs and chickens:2 days.
Turkeys, calves and lambs:10 days.
Milk: Do not use.
Eggs: Do not use. Do not use in the 4 weeks before or after the start of laying. Do not use in the 4 weeks before or after the start of laying.
