Indications
Treatment of frothy bloat
Contra-indications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance.
Special precautions
In animals:
Avoid the medicinal product from being inhaled into the trachea or the lungs during force feeding, as this could cause aspiration pneumonia.
In humans:
People with known hypersensitivity to liquid paraffin must avoid all contact with the medicinal product.
Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, wash abundantly with water.
Posology
Cattle:
Frothy bloat: 50-100 ml/animal, every 2-4 hours, until a return to normal is observed.
Ovine and caprine:
Frothy bloat: 30-50 ml/animal, until a return to normal is observed.
Waiting time
Cattle, sheep and goats:
Meat: 0 days.
Milk: 0 days.
