Indications
For active immunisation of pigs against erysipelas produced by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae to prevent infection, death and clinical signs and/or lesions from the disease
Onset of immunity: two weeks after administration of the second dose Duration of immunity: six months after administration of the first dose
Posology
2 ml/animal.
First vaccination: One dose at 12 weeks of age and a second dose 3-4 weeks later.
Revaccination: One booster dose every 6 months. When infection pressure is high (especially in Iberian pigs) administer every 3 months.
Revaccination of adult pigs: One dose 2 weeks after each parturition. If required, piglets can be protected by administering a new dose one month before parturition in females vaccinated previously.
