Indications
For use in all species, for the treatment and prevention of vitamin E/selenium deficiency.
Posology
Intramuscular or subcutaneous administration
Cattle:
0.6-1.2 ml of medicinal product/15 kg body weight (equivalent to 45-90 mg of vitamin E and 0.45-0.90 mg of selenium/15 kg body weight), repeat at 2-4 weeks if necessary.
Ovine and caprine:
Lambs and kids older than 2 weeks: 1 ml of medicinal product/15 kg body weight (equivalent to 75 mg of vitamin E and 0.75 mg selenium/15 kg body weight).
Sheep and goats: 1.2 ml of medicinal product/15 kg body weight (equivalent to 90 mg vitamin E and 0.90 mg selenium/15 kg body weight), after third month of pregnancy to prevent deficiency in lambs and kids.
Porcine:
Weaned piglets: 1 ml of drug/15 kg p.v. (equivalent to 75 mg of vitamin E and 0.75 mg selenium/15 kg p.v.).
Pigs: 1.2 ml of medicinal product/15 kg body weight (equivalent to 90 mg of vitamin E and 0.90 mg of sodium selenium/15 kg body weight), to prevent deficiency in piglets.
