Headquarters in León
Inaugurated on 22 November 2019, Syva's administrative services have moved into their new offices. They are now located in the heart of the technologic area park, just in front of Syva’s other buildings, which are dedicated to the production of vaccines and beta-lactams.
80 employees share more than 400 square metres spread over 3 platforms. Designed to encourage exchanges between the various departments and increase ease of use, the new landscaped areas bring together the sales and marketing, technical and customer services, human resources, and IT support departments. An entire platform is also dedicated to the laboratories that develop new veterinary medicines. It is occupied by the 12 scientific staff members who are responsible for research and development within Syva.

Our production sites
Biologicals Plant
Opened in 2008, the production site dedicated to vaccines (viruses, bacteria, live or inactivated) covers more than 12,000 m2 in the heart of the León technology park. Its production capacity is 13.5 million units, or 675 million doses of vaccine.
Betalactamics Plant
In 2017, with the evolution and growth of our activities, part of the production, historically located in an urban area on the outskirts of León, was moved and a new production unit was built right next to the vaccine production unit in the technology park.
This plant is entirely dedicated to the manufacture of pharmaceutical specialties that incorporate active ingredients of the beta-lalactamic group.
Pharmaceuticals Plant
In 1941 began the manufacture of serums and vaccines in this production plant. In the following decades, the company consolidated its position nationally and began drawing the guidelines for its international expansion.
Our operating subsidiaries
Syva Portugal
Geographically and culturally close to Spain, IAPSA, Syva's Portuguese subsidiary is managed from Spain by the commercial director and is, in fact, integrated into Iberia's sales team. Three members of this team are located in Lisbon, including an administrator, a sales representative and a technical sales representative, having daily dealings with veterinarians and distributors. The Portuguese team is also in charge of contacts with Portuguese-speaking countries such as Angola and Mozambique.
Syva Mexico
Founded in 1993, Syva's Mexican subsidiary, which is linguistically and culturally close, is an important strategic anchor for Syva on the South American continent. Nineteen people work in this subsidiary that is under the responsibility of the area manager for Latin America based in Spain but managed locally by two directors for commercial and financial matters.
Syva Turkey
In 2020, after many years of commercial presence through distributors, we have taken the step to open our subsidiary in Turkey SYVA VETERINER ILAÇLARI Ltd. Syva Turkey, based in the Asian part of Istanbul begins with a team of 6 people led by a Country Manager. It is a fundamental step in Syva's geographical expansion in one of the most important markets in the area.
Global presence
In addition to Spain, Portugal, Mexico and since 2020 Turkey, Laboratorios Syva is actively present in more than 60 countries, where they can count on a large network of exclusive or authorized distributors, who are responsible for delivering to their customers, vaccines and the wide variety of veterinary products produced by Syva. These countries are divided into 3 areas of responsibility; Europe, America-Asia-Russia and Africa-Middle East.
