Indications
Treatment of the following infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to benzylpenicillin and dihydrostretomycin and that occur with acute inflammation:
Cattle:
Treatment of respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida.
Porcine:
– Treatment of respiratory infections caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and/or Pasteurella multocida.
– Tratamiento de meningitis causada por Streptococcus suis, Listeria monocytogenes y/o Haemophilus parasuis.
– Treatment of Glässer’s disease caused by Haemophilus parasuis.
Contra-indications
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, or that have viral and/or fungal infections, are aged under one month or are receiving to immunological treatment.
Special precautions
Do not handle the drug if you are allergic to penicillin, cephalosporins or other ingredients of the medicinal product.
Do not use the medicinal product during the last trimester of pregnancy.
Do not administer for more than 3 consecutive days. Continue treatment subsequently with antibiotics without corticosteroids.
Posology
Cattle and pigs: 1 ml/10-20 kg bodyweight/day, for 3 days.
Waiting time
Meat:
Cattle: 56 days.
Pigs: 68 days.
Milk: 60 hours.
Packaging
Glass vials of 10, 50, 100 and 250 ml
Polyterephthalate ethylene vials (PET) of 100 and 250 ml.
It is possible that not all formats are marketed.
