Indications
For all target species mentioned, the medicinal product is used to treat the following infections caused by bacterial strains sensitive to oxytetracycline:
Cattle:
Treatment of respiratory infections caused by Histophilus somni, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma bovis.
Genital infections: metritis caused by Arcanobacterium pyogenes.
Foot infections caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum and Prevotella melaninogenicus.
Other infections:
-Actinobacillosis caused by Actinobacillus ligneresi.
Calf diphtheria caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum.
Mastitis caused by Stapylococcus aureus, Streptococcus uberis and E.coli.
-Bovine anaplasmosis caused by Anaplasma centrale and A.marginale.
Goats and sheep:Respiratory infections caused by Mannheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida.
Genital infections: Metritis caused by Arcanobacterium pyogenes.
Foot infections caused by Dermatophilus congolensis and Fusobacterium necrophorum.
Other infections:
Mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae and E.coli.
Enzootic abortion caused by Chlamydia abortus and Chlamidia psittaci.
Onphalophebitis associated with Staphylococcus aureus, Arcanobacterium pyogenes and E.coli.
Polyarthritis caused by Chlamydia spp. and Mycoplasma spp. .
Porcine:
Respiratory infections caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Haemophilus parasuis, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
Genitourinary Infections: MMA syndrome (Mastitis-Metritis-Agalactia) caused by Stapylococcus spp, Streptococcus spp, E. coli and Klebsiella spp.
Other infections:
-Erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae.
Onphalophlebitis associated with Arcanobacterium pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus and E. coli.
Contra-indications
Do not administer to animals with liver or kidney abnormalities.
Posology
1 ml/10 kg bodyweight as a single dose.
Ensure a a maximum volume per injection site of:
Cattle: 15 ml.
Porcine: 10 ml.
Ovine and caprine: 5 ml.
Waiting time
Meat:
Cattle: 30 days
Porcine: 23 days
Ovine and caprine: 24 days.
Milk: Do not use.
Packaging
Container with 100 and 250 mL.
With veterinary prescription.
