Indications
For active immunisation of nulliparous sows, adult sows and boars to reduce clinical signs (skin lesions and fever) of swine erysipelas caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, serotype 2, as demonstrated under experimental exposure conditions in seronegative swine.
For active immunisation of nulliparous sows and adult sows to reduce transplacental infection in the offspring caused by porcine parvovirus.
Special precautions
Only vaccinate healthy animals.
No data available on the use of the vaccine in animals with maternally derived antibodies against porcine parvovirus.
Incompatibilities
Do not mix with any other veterinary medicinal product.
Posology
Administer a dose of 2 ml intramuscularly into the neck muscles of swine from the age of 5 months onwards according to the following pattern:
Primary vaccination schedule: two single-dose intramuscular injections, separated by a 4-week
interval. In nulliparous sows and adult sows, the second injection must be given 2- 3
3 weeks before insemination or mating.
Revaccination schedule for nulliparous sows and adult sows: one intramuscular injection of
one dose 2-3 weeks before insemination or mating and at the latest 5 months after the previous vaccination.
Revaccination schedule for boars: one intramuscular injection every 5 months.
