Indications
Treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by strains of Pasteurella multocidasensitive to amoxicillin.
Special precautions
Do not use simultaneously with neomycin or antibiotics that inhibit bacterial protein synthesis.
Posology
Due to the route of administration and given that water consumption depends on the animal’s clinical condition the concentration of Syvamox Oral Powder will be adjusted considering the daily water consumption and total weight of the animals in order to ensure correct dosing.
Dosing and treatment regimen:
Pigs (Fattening pigs): 143 mg of Syvamox Oral Powder/10 kg body weight/12 hours (equivalent to 10 mg of amoxicillin/kg body weight/12 h) dissolved in water for 5 days.
In general, administer dissolved in drinking water: 286 g of Syvamox Oral Powder/1,000 litres or a measuring spoon for every 100 litres, distributed as 2 doses a day for 5 days.
The drinking water must be replaced with medicated water twice a day. Throw away any medicated water that has not been consumed.
Make sure the medicated water is the only drinking source during the treatment.

Meat: 14 days.
Packaging
Formats: High density polyethylene bottles with 100, 250, 500 and 1000 g of product, with 70 ml polystyrene measuring spoon included inside the bottle.
It is possible that not all formats are marketed.
