Indications
Treatment of systemic infections in cattle, sheep and pigs caused by penicillin-sensitive bacteria
Contra-indications
Do not administer intravenously.
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to penicillins, cephalosporins, procaine or to any excipients.
Do not use in the event of severe disturbance of kidney function that occurs with anuria or oliguria.
Do not use in the event of severe disturbance of kidney function that occurs with anuria or oliguria.
Do not use in small herbivores such as guinea pigs, gerbils or hamsters.
Posology
For intramuscular administration. Shake well before use.
The recommended dose is 10 mg benzylpenicillin procaine per kg live weight (equivalent to 5,66 mg benzylpenicillin per kg live weight) equivalent to 1 ml per 30 kg live weight per day for 3-5 days.
Do not inject more than 2.5 ml per injection site in swine.
Do not inject more than 12 ml per injection site in cows.
Do not inject more than 2 ml per injection site in sheep.
