Indications

Cattle:
Treatment and control of respiratory tract infections in cattle caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somnisensitive to florfenicol.

The presence of the disease in the herd must be established before treatment.

Pigs:
Treatment of acute outbreaks of porcine respiratory disease caused by strains of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniaeandPasteurella multocidasusceptible to florfenicol.

Contra-indications

Do not use in adult boars and bulls used for breeding purposes.
Do not use in piglets weighing less than 2 kg.

Posology

Cattle:

Intramuscular administration: 1 ml/15 kg bodyweight two doses 48 hours apart.

Subcutaneous administration: 2 ml/15 kg bodyweight administered just once.

Do not administer more than 10 ml per injection site for both routes. The injection must

only be administered into the neck.

Porcine:

Intra muscular route: 1 ml/20 kg bodyweight in the neck muscle, two doses 48 hours

apart. The volume administered per injection site must not exceed 3 ml.

Waiting time

Meat:

Cattle: intramuscular administration, 30 days; subcutaneous administration, 44 days.

Porcine: 18 days.

Milk: Do not use.
