A doctoral thesis on immunomodulation mechanisms by Fasciola hepatica, winner of the XXII edition of the SYVA AWARD

On Wednesday, October 23, the 2019 SYVA AWARD was awarded.

During the celebration of the Syva Laboratory Diálogos del Ovino’, the XXII Syva Award was held for the best Doctoral Thesis in Animal Health to Alejandro Escamilla Sánchez, awarded for his thesis “Studies of immunomodulation mechanisms by Fasciola hepatica: apoptosis and regulatory T cells”.

Since 1997, Laboratorios Syva, in agreement with the University of León organizes this prestigious award annually in order to encourage the scientific training of university students in the field of animal health, strengthening the commitment to make contributions to knowledge and science.
