Postponement of the Syva Award Decision 2020.

The decision on the winning doctoral thesis is postponed because of Covid-19.
On 22nd February, the period for presenting doctoral theses defended during the 2018-2019 academic year, and that will compete for the 23rd Syva Award for the best doctoral thesis in animal health, ended.
For this call, a decision on the winning doctoral thesis was scheduled to be made public before 13th April 2020.
Because of the Covid-19 health emergency it will not be possible to publish the decision on the scheduled date. The meetings set by the selection board appointed to evaluate the theses presented have been postponed. This situation also means the date of presenting the award has to be pushed back.
We will keep you updated on dates for the decision and presentation of the Syva Award 2020 when it is possible to schedule them again.
