Syva celebrated its first edition of the Sheep Dialogues in Castilla-La Mancha.

Tomelloso (Ciudad Real) was the setting for the first edition of the Castile-La Mancha Dialogues on Sheep, a meeting that brought together professionals, vets, technicians and industry experts to discuss the current state of sheep production and the challenges it faces in the future.

The high attendance and interest shown by participants have confirmed the significant phase of development, modernization, and professionalism that the region’s sheep industry is currently undergoing. During the course of the day, participants had the opportunity to share experiences, knowledge, and ideas on key issues affecting the present and future of the livestock sector.

Syva wished to highlight the excellent reception this first edition has received, as well as the high technical and professional standard of the presentations delivered throughout the event. The discussions held during the session highlighted the sector’s firm commitment to innovation, continuous training and the adoption of solutions that enable progress towards more efficient and sustainable production, tailored to new requirements.

Furthermore, this event has served to highlight the importance of cooperation between sheep farmers, vets, businesses, technical experts and organisations involved in the sheep sector, reinforcing collaboration as a key tool for effectively addressing the sector’s current and future challenges.

The Dialogues on Sheep were created more than 25 years ago with the aim of becoming a leading platform for the exchange of knowledge and the promotion of initiatives that foster the technical and economic development of the sheep farming sector in Spain.

As always, special mention must be made of the tremendous commitment shown by all attendees, speakers and contributors, whose involvement has been key to the success of this year’s event.
