César Carnicer is appointed vice-president of Veterindustria.

The Board of Directors of Veterindustria (Asociación Empresarial Española de la Industria de Sanidad y Nutrición Animal) has renewed yesterday, 10 December, the positions of president and vice-president of the association.

César Carnicer, director of Syva, assumes the vice-presidency of Veterindustria, while Diego García, who holds the position of senior vice-president of the Southern Europe Cluster at Zoetis, will be the new president of Veterindustria.

Syva reinforces its commitment to the essential and strategic sector of animal health and public health by defending the interests of Spanish companies involved in the manufacture and/or marketing of veterinary medicines, animal health and nutrition products and nutritional additives.

Veterindustria represents practically all the companies in the sector that provide society with veterinary medicines and products aimed at preventing, treating and curing animal diseases thanks to the research and production of medicines of the highest quality, safety and efficacy to contribute to animal health and welfare, and consequently also to that of society.

Syva is also a member of AnimalhealthEurope, the association representing manufacturers of animal medicines, vaccines and other animal health products in Europe.

It is an excellent opportunity for Syva to be an active member of Veterindustria and AnimalHealthEurope, two associations with which Syva shares the same values for sustainable contribution to animal health and public health.
