International Animal Rights Day

On 10th December we commemorated “International Animal Rights Day”, the aim of which is to raise awareness of the importance of animal respect and their proper treatment.
At Syva, we are committed to animal health and welfare – the best allies of livestock production. The handling, treating and feeding of our animals is reflected in the quality of their products and, consequently, in people’s health.
We therefore wanted to remind you here of the five fundamental animal rights, which were defined on the same day as International Human Rights Day, the anniversary of which is also on 10th December.
5 FREEDOMS:
- free from hunger, thirst and malnutrition
- free from fear and suffering
- free from physical or temperature discomfort
- free from pain, injuries or diseases
- free to express own behavioural guidelines.
