Inauguration of the new offices at León Technological Parque. Trailblazing and creating memories!

Syva’s administrative services were inaugurated on 22nd November 2019 and its new offices have been inverted. They are now located in the heart of the Technological Park, just opposite the other Syva buildings, aimed for vaccine production and the betalactam antibiotic production unit.

A total of 80 employees share more than 400 square metres distributed over 3 platforms. Designed to boost exchange between the various departments and increase the ease of use, the new group landscape combines sales and marketing, customer services, human resources and IT support. A full platform is also dedicated to laboratories for the development of new animal health medicines and is occupied by the 12 scientific collaborators in charge of research and development at Syva.

The day after the first vaccinations in the Netherlands, Syva organised a round table in Utrecht focusing on the situation of bluetongue in this country and its BTV-3 vaccine.

Among those taking part in the day, many technical and practical questions that were answered by our experts, some of which reflected both the concern of being confronted once again with this BTV3 epidemic and a form of joy and relief at knowing that at the very moment many animals were being vaccinated.

News of the vaccination campaign in the Netherlands using Syva’s BTV3 vaccine!

The vaccination campaign has, according to the competent authorities, begun with the immunisation of sheep. While most vets are entering the third week of vaccination for sheep, cases of BTV3 are being reported in young calves from cows that have not yet been vaccinated.
